We have all been watching how things in this country have been unfolding lately, from the Government shutdown, to New York making late term abortion legal, to the President’s State of the Union speech. There have been some very monumental things happening in our country lately.
Many people have grown concerned about all aspects of how the new law in New York will affect the world as we know it. Trump highlighted on this topic during his SOTU speech on Tuesday saying:
“There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our nation saw in recent days. Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments from birth. These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world.”
President has been extremely outspoken on how he feels in regards to abortion, and human life. He’s very much pro-life, and isn’t that a great quality to have in a leader. He wants to save and preserve life, instead of destroying it.
During the National Prayer Breakfast, President Donald Trump went on to explain more on him comments that were made during his State of the Union address. The crowd was so moved by his worlds that there was a standing ovation from the entire crowd when he was done.
Trump stated: “We must build a culture that cherishes dignity and sanctity of innocent human life,” Trump said. “All children, born and unborn, are made in the holy image of God. Every life is sacred, and every soul is a precious gift from heaven.”
He even went on to recite parts of what the Bible says on the subject: “As the Lord says in Jeremiah, ‘before I formed you in the womb, I knew you – before you were born, I set you apart.”
We hear you loud and clear Mr. President! So many people were moved by his words, including myself.
President Trump went on at the Prayer Breakfast, and encouraged prayer for the future of the country and for all the children. When he spoke of this he said: “Today and every day let us pray for the future of our country, let us pray for courage to pursue justice, and wisdom to forge peace. For a future where every child is warm, safe, in a loving home.” Amen to that sir!
