As if there weren’t enough voices already attempting to steer the debate of the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, this morning President Trump jumped in feet first to stir the waters up again.
In traditional Trump fashion he did so via his Twitter account, his go to outlet to make sure his message and thoughts are heard loud and clear without the influence of the mainstream media.
Trump implicitly backs the character and reputation of Kavanaugh. Telling him to stand strong, this what every day of his life is like,
Judge Brett Kavanaugh is a fine man, with an impeccable reputation, who is under assault by radical left wing politicians who don’t want to know the answers, they just want to destroy and delay. Facts don’t matter. I go through this with them every single day in D.C. — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 21, 2018
Trump calls into question the veracity of Dr. Ford’s claims, because it’s taken over thirty years to come forward, and only at this time, despite all the other times Kavanaugh has gone through confirmations prior.
But he still gives her the benefit of the doubt in a sense that she can still bring forth any credible evidence she may have to corroborate her claims.
I have no doubt that, if the attack on Dr. Ford was as bad as she says, charges would have been immediately filed with local Law Enforcement Authorities by either her or her loving parents. I ask that she bring those filings forward so that we can learn date, time, and place! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 21, 2018
He knows the Democrats are setting with hatred toward him, and will go to any lengths to simply fight him.
The radical left lawyers want the FBI to get involved NOW. Why didn’t someone call the FBI 36 years ago? — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 21, 2018
Please someone, help put an end to this madness. Produce evidence, or go home. Confirm Kavanaugh.
