Forever the liberal mouthpiece and Clinton lackey, George Stephanopoulos, attempted and failed to corner Sarah Sanders on the President Trump’s defense of Brett Kavanaugh.
“It does seem that the president has already reached a judgment about their stories and when Roy Moore and Bill O’Reilly an Roger Ailes, Rob Porter accused and now when Brett Kavanaugh is accused, the president consistently every single time takes the side of the man.”
Stephanopoulos attempts to contrasts the President’s stance on these men to the nation wide #MeToo movement where women have been coming forward and accusing men of sexual misconduct. In this list he’s trying to be clever about mixing political cases like Roy Moore and Rob Porter with the non political likes of Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes.
Trump is a team player. He defends those who defend him. It’s obvious Trump has opinions, and he’s not afraid of making them known.
It’s an argument tactic to lump everything that looks the same together, whether or not they belong in the same space. Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes are not employed by this or any previous administration. It’s important to mention that the evidence against these men mentioned except for Kavanaugh was overwhelmingly strong, and it’s surprising that they were able to get away with what they did.
However this same type of evidence does not exist against Kavanaugh.
Sarah Sanders offers her rebuttal,
“it’s interesting that you say that. It’s a lot of Democrats that like to ignore Keith Ellison and Cory Booker and love to fight and champion women until they disagree.”
“Al Franken lost his job in the Senate,” George points out.
“And a number of other Democrats should have the same scrutiny.” Sanders adds.
Again George tries to paint the picture that Trump is anti-woman stating that he never believes a woman she accuses a man,
“That’s not true. In this case, the president knows Brett Kavanaugh. He’s heard his story. There hasn’t been a shred of evidence to corroborate the other individual stories and there has been a lot of individuals that have come forward and talked about the Brett Kavanaugh that they know and they’re confident these things didn’t happen.”
Like always Sanders stands her ground, but it’s not that hard when you’re going up against the leftist Yes Man, George Stephanopoulos.
