State Department Restarts Hillary Clinton Email Investigation

For all of those people who say “nothing is going to happen,” well, things have been going on behind the scenes for quite some time.

The reason you haven’t hear about it should be obvious, but I’ll spell it out for you anyway: democrats and the media want this to go away. Bad.

Now, the state department is officially restarting the Clinton email investigation. Officials addressed the issues of timeliness and impartiality in numerous statements. This from The Daily Caller:

“This has nothing to do with who is in the White House,” a senior State Department official told the Post on the condition of anonymity. “This is about the time it took to go through millions of emails, which is about 3½ years.”

Another anonymous senior official at the department echoed that conviction, telling the Post: “The process is set up in a manner to completely avoid any appearance of political bias.”

Clinton’s now-notorious email server played a large role in the 2016 presidential campaign. Although then-FBI Director James Comey testified before Congress that he didn’t believe Clinton’s use of a private server warranted criminal charges, just a week before the election he announced that he was reopening the case.

Perhaps this is why the issue of the emails came up during the president’s conversation with the Ukrainian President. President Trump is well aware of what’s going on in regards to the email scandal, and perhaps he was trying to get some attention to that fact.

Time will tell what will happen, but it appears the wheels of justice are finally moving.
