Over the course of the last four years we have been told that President Trump is a lot of things by the main stream media. They’ve called him a racist, a traitor, a bigot, and a list of other slanderous words and phrases my grandmother would not appreciate me saying.
The point is, President Trump has been under constant attack by a press that has zero intention of pointing out the successes of his administration. Most coverage of President Trump seems to ignore the tens of millions of people who voted for the guy, and caters to one side of the aisle. Which is probably why a lot of people are wondering why this impeachment process is taking so long.
Democrats are drawing this dog and pony show out to cast doubt in the hearts of Trump supporters, but rest assured our president isn’t going to keep taking the punches. Now, he’s hoping to get a trial, assuming impeachment passes through the House on partisan lines.
“The bottom line is, all of those witnesses, they’re all shifty Schiff’s,” President Trump told Fox & Friends on Friday. “Don’t forget there was no due process. You can’t have lawyers. We couldn’t have any witnesses.”
“We wanted to call the whistleblower. You know who I want as the first witness, frankly, I want a trial.”
When pushed by one of the hosts, Brian Kilmeade, on whether he was serious or not, President Trump didn’t back down.
“Oh, I would! Look, number one, they should never, ever impeach.”
“I watched, I watched five people on your network yesterday say there’s nothing here. Andy McCarthy, how about Ken [Starr], special prosecutor. Special counsel. Ken Starr, he was fantastic, he said there’s nothing here. So ready? Number one, there should never be an impeachment. This is not an impeachment.”
Here’s the clip:
In the event the impeachment passes, the process then moves to the Senate, where they will have a trial. This will allow Republicans to call witness to question. Some of those witnesses could be, but aren’t limited to:
The list goes on. Maybe democrats haven’t thought this whole thing out…
