Earlier on Thursday afternoon President Trump wrote a letter to Nancy Pelosi canceling here ‘Public Relations Trip overseas. This was in a response to a letter she sent on Wednesday where she tried to delay Trump’s State of the Union speech, or cancel it entirely.
In her original letter to Trump on his SOTU, Nancy Pelosi said that…
“unless government re-opens this week…”
The State of the Union — set for January 29 — should be pushed back until the partial government shutdown ends.
President Trump seems to be tired of the games and then wrote his own letter to her.
“Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed. We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over.”
The letter, first posted to Twitter by Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, instantly went viral with people supporting the President’s response.
It then only took 1 hour for the office of Nancy Pelosi to come u p with this response.
This was shared to Twitter by White House correspondent Kelly O’Donnell.
It seems Nancy Pelosi can’t help but keep on shifting the blame to Trump. I’m patiently awaiting his response to this. I’m sure it won’t take long.
