Imagine seeing someone you love being attacked by the media every single day. Now, imagine that being your reality for the past four years. That is the hell that Melania Trump has been put through while her husband has been tasked with guiding the country.
Compared to the previous First Lady, we don’t hear much in the media about Melania Trump aside from how expensive her outfits are… That could lead people to believe she doesn’t do much, but if you’ve been paying attention you know the media doesn’t report anything that could paint the First Family in a positive light.
Here’s the latest example of the work FLOTUS does:
Care packages put together by first lady Melania Trump and second lady Karen Pence on Wednesday could soon end up at a military base near you.
The comfort kits — headed to deployed U.S. troops in Iraq, Kuwait, Romania, Poland, and Djibouti — include hygiene products along with Rice Krispies treats, popcorn, Swiss Miss hot chocolate, and microwavable muffin mix that is the “perfect size for 1” and will definitely, definitely not get screwed up by a private who doesn’t know what three tablespoons of water looks like.
“While most Americans are able to enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas with their families, we have thousands of American troops deployed overseas and separated form their loved ones,” Trump said. “It’s important as Americans to do all we can to support our troops and their families. I encourage people everywhere to participate in service this holiday season, and give back to our military.”
That wasn’t on any major news site… Go ahead and check if any MSM source has even touched on the story.
Here are some of the latest stories on Melania right now:
This comes from the First Lady’s official website:
In her role as First Lady, Mrs. Trump focuses her time on the many issues affecting children. An unwavering characteristic of the First Lady is her aptitude for showing love and compassion in all that she does. Mrs. Trump spends much of her time meeting with children who are patients at hospitals and care centers. Recently, she took valentines to the Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Over the Easter holiday, she made a surprise visit to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Palm Beach, Florida, bringing Easter baskets to the children. Following the devastating hurricanes last year, Mrs. Trump visited Texas to meet with families that suffered greatly under Hurricane Harvey. In the wake of two horrendous mass shootings, Mrs. Trump traveled with her husband to Las Vegas and Parkland to be with the victims and families in their times of need. Internationally, Mrs. Trump has visited several hospitals and schools. One of her most memorable visits being at the Pediatric Hospital Bambino Gesu in the Vatican City, where she met a boy who had been waiting for a new heart. Upon arrival in Belgium the following day, Mrs. Trump learned that the hospital had found a transplant for the boy–Mrs. Trump celebrated the news in a press statement and said “my own heart is filled with joy over the news.”
As First Lady, Mrs. Trump has made multiple visits to schools—both foreign and domestic. From participating in a Viking huddle class, which focuses on emotional learning at Orchard Lake Middle School in Michigan, to taking the Queen of Jordan to Washington, D.C.’s first public charter school for girls at Excel Academy in Southeast, Mrs. Trump is always bringing children to the forefront of her agenda. While traveling abroad, Mrs. Trump visited the American International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with Education Minister Ahmed Al Eissa, and took a calligraphy lesson with local children at Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School with Mrs. Abe while visiting Japan. Earlier this spring, Mrs. Trump invited a group of local students to the White House so she could talk with them, hear their stories, and understand the issues they are challenged with today. Mrs. Trump addresses those issues each opportunity she gets. From Governors’ spouses’ luncheons to the United Nations General Assembly, Mrs. Trump puts the emphasis on children and how we can protect them, teach them, and empower them.
Have you noticed how the media treats Melania different? She doesn’t get moments like this:
Instead, she is constantly attacked for staying by her husband. Lesser women would have left once the “popular” crowd started coming after Donald Trump, but not Melania.
The same people who call Hillary Clinton a “gutsy woman” are the first to criticize the First Lady for remaining loyal to her husband. Could you imagine how hard it must be as a wife to have your husband constantly torn down?
She has to put up with so much crap, but she doesn’t complain. Not once has she attacked the media. That’s not her style. While her husband may come off as a brute at times, Melania remains a perfect example of grace, and steadfast kindness.
Furthermore, she doesn’t do anything for her own glory. How do I know? Because the media doesn’t give her any credit, and yet she continues to go about her duties, day in and day out. Plus, she’s doing it all while raising a pre-teen son.
Melania Trump has every right to be bitter, but she isn’t. At the very least, she doesn’t make it known. She knows that her husband is working for the American people, and that comes with a price when up against those who have other intentions.
Republicans should be thanking their lucky stars to have the Trumps in the White House. All the years of caving to left-wing ideology reached a boiling point, and Donald Trump was the only one willing to stand up and say “this has to stop”. Thankfully, he has a strong woman as a partner who knows how to put her head down, and do the work for the American people.
God bless Melania Trump.
