When a president leaves office he tends to “ride off into the sunset,” but the same cannot be said about our previous commander-in-chief Barack Obama.
Assuming Trump’s base would have disbanded by now, Obama had remained silent for nearly 18 months, but after realizing that wasn’t happening he now feels the democrats can’t get the job done. That is why he’s working so hard on behalf of the DNC to belittle Trump, and take credit for the accomplishment’s of 4’s administration.
One person who has had enough of Barry-O’s nonsense is Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone. The man founded a billion dollar company, so it’s reasonable to believe he knows a thing or two about economics.
Recently Langone sat down with Fox Business’ Neil Cavuto and discussed how successful Trump has been in getting the country working again, and discussed the subject of he Mueller investigation.
“We live in the greatest country on Earth, and the American people spoke loud and clear,” said Langone. “The establishment is shocked that Donald Trump won. But he won. He won fair and square. I don’t — this Mueller investigation, come on, let’s end it. Let’s decide. Come out and say what you got. There’s a notion here that this guy should not be President of the United States. I beg your pardon. He won fair and square. He won 307 electoral votes. He is our president. Respect the office of the presidency.”
Langone brings up an excellent point. This investigation into Russian collusion started nearly two years ago, and we have yet to see any proof of it being a reality. All we have are cases of bank fraud, tax evasion, and campaign finance violations. People on the left like to point and say “see, these guys committed crimes!” but none of these crimes have anything to do with Russia interfering with the election at the behest of the Trump campaign.
When asked about Obama continuing to remain in the spotlight, Langone didn’t hold back:
“Forget about it” Langone Began. “Obama ought to do what every great president did. Go off into the sunset. Be the mother of the groom. Wear beige and keep your mouth shut. OK?” “What I’m saying is that, like it or not, Trump’s base is rock solid,” he continued. “Donald Trump needs 15 percent of the voters to get re-elected in 2020. That 35 percent is rock solid. I would hope he would do things different than he did, but damn, give the guy credit. The Koreans had a big parade. They didn’t have — nothing. We had a meeting with them. I watched John Kerry on television. Oh, we couldn’t get a meeting with them.”
The Home Depot co-founder seems to think that a Trump victory in 2020 is almost imminent. While the media continues to throw shots at the president, Trump’s base isn’t falling for their gimmicks. Slander the man all you want, but he’s getting things done.
