One of America’s strengths is its diversity. However that is a double edged sword. When capitalism is demonized, and socialism is promoted the inevitable results are places like Detroit, and Dearborn. Places that were once bastions of American economics, now run into the ground by progressive liberalism.
Rep. Ilhan Omar, since her election has been an outspoken critic of the American system, and its foreign policy and relationship with our strongest Middle East ally, Israel.
Representatives Omar, and Talib have a trip scheduled to visit Israel to show their support of a Palestinian led boycott. The boycott movement seeks to end “Israel’s oppression of Palestinians, and comply with international law.”
Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is barring the pair from entering the nation saying in part that his government is “open to critics and criticism, except for those who advocate boycotts against it.” He went on to add that the NGO who is sponsoring the Representatives trip, MIFTA, is a strong vocal advocate of the boycott against Israel, whose members have supported out right acts of terror against the Israeli people.
Bibi’s announcement came on the heels of a bold tweet from President Trump.
The President writes,
“It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep.Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds. Minnesota and Michigan will have a hard time putting them back in office. They are a disgrace!”
He later tweeted another dig at Omar and Talib.
People are shocked that Trump isn’t defending his own countries congresswomen in the face of them being barred. But this notion goes against Trump’s core doctrine of “America First.” Being anti-Israel is being anti-American, because America is Pro-Israel
