Everyone is talking about how the Cowboys took a knee just before the National anthem at tonight’s game.
What the mainstream media failed to mention is that the Arizona Cardinals NEVER TOOK A KNEE and stood on their feet the whole time!
That’s right! The cameras stayed focused on the Cowboys during this moment and the media totally ignored it.
If we look even closer, Arizona head Coach Bruce Arians even took time to remove his hat and place his hand over his heart!
Well played sir!
Jerry Jones had a shot at making America proud… and he totally blew it by appeasing the mainstream media with this move. I get his motives of solidarity, but this is not how it should have been handled.
Where was the man who just a short time ago said this:
“I just feel so strongly that the act of recognizing the flag is a salute to our country and all of the people that have sacrificed so that we can have the liberties we have. I feel very strongly that everyone should save that moment for the recognition of the flag in a positive way, so I like the way the Cowboys do it. The forum of the NFL and the forum on television is a very significant thing. I’m for it being used, in every way we can, to support the great contributors in our society — that is people that have supported America, and the flag. For anybody to use parts of that visibility to do otherwise is really disappointing. We strongly support the flag in every way — and the people that for generations have given it all up so that we can get out here.”
I’m not sure if I should watch any more games.
Looks like the Cowboys are no longer “America’s Team” and the Cardinals have taken their place. Interesting times we live in.
