The Trump administration has been doing the old Potomac Two-Step when it comes to managing crises.
Everything looks like a distraction from the real issue? Is there even a real issue? Perhaps the Trump team just wants people running around from subject from day to to day in order to keep ALL media scrutiny off of just one of their issues.
This strategy was most definitely implemented when Trump went after the NFL and started a major ruckus. A ruckus that bought him a good screen while his cabinet was figuring out how they’re going to deal with North Korea.
You kind of have to hand it to Trump in this regard. Pretty much every President, when a distraction was needed, goes with some sort of military action.
The President, known for his conflicts he gets into, has been pitted against North Korea. They have been attempting to flex their military might by launching missiles, and making very direct threats towards the United States and its allies.
Since he became President, Trump has yet to be on the same page as the intelligence community. You can read into that anyway you’d like, but they definitely don’t like him.
A senior CIA analyst has even made a rather cryptic comment on North Korea themselves. They have come to the conclusion that North Korea will make a provocation on October 10th, but are they doing anything to thwart it?
“There is a clarity of purpose in what [North Korean leader] Kim Jong-un is doing. I don’t think he’s done,” said Yong Suk-lee, the deputy assistant director of the CIA’s Korea Mission Center, which was set up this year.
The analyst added,
“In fact, I told my own staff [that] October 10th is the Korean Workers party founding day. That’s Tuesday in North Korea, but Monday – the Columbus Day holiday – in the United States. So stand by your phones.”
Doesn’t it seem odd that the CIA is publicly saying this?
If it doesn’t, IT IS BIZARRE.
The CIA is publicly giving up intelligence? Are they signaling to some other group in the media? But of course no one else ask these questions.
Want to up the bizarre ante? Good. RUSSIA is saying the same thing.
Yes, those same Russians who have allegedly meddled in our elections are predicting something big, and even claim to have seen ‘the calculations.’
Anton Morozov, a member of Russia’s lower house of parliament on the international affairs committee, broke his silence with this statement,
“They are preparing for new tests of a long-range missile. They even gave us mathematical calculations that they believe prove that their missile can hit the west coast of the United States,”
Then he added,
“As far as we understand, they intend to launch one more long-range missile in the near future. And in general, their mood is rather belligerent.“
These comments are why President Trump is tweeting things like this,
Which has many asking this,
North Korea appears to be another giant distraction.
Is the threat real? Or is Washington selling fear to sell arms to make more money?
